Compression is a series of wall-based textile sculptures exploring cloth under pressure. Folded, bound and compacted fabric is held in states of tension, collapse and resistance, allowing the material to behave as both surface and structure. Natural staining, rust marks and tonal shifts record contact, pressure and transformation across the cloth. The works sit between textile, object and relief, treating fabric not as a passive support but as a responsive material shaped by force, gravity and restraint.
