Holding Forms

This collection uses naturally dyed cloth as a way of abstractly recording landforms. Through sewing, folding and draping, the textiles are shaped into ridges, depressions and sweeping contours that echo geological processes. Each form holds tension and memory, capturing the sense of terrain emerging under pressure. The work foregrounds how fibre, tannins and structure interact to create sculptural surfaces that feel both bodily and topographic.
