Surface Tension explores how cloth responds to pressure, movement and care. Walnut, rhubarb root and alder cone dyed muslin and silk organza are shaped through waves and folds, creating zones of tension, shadow and translucency. The work reveals the subtle forces that pull materials into form and the quiet labour embedded in making.
